It does matter. If the Fed wants to protect SP500 as a matter of
monetary policy, it sure can do so, while zooming oil to 200 -ng-
US is not a small country and still dominates the global financial
landscape. So? A run on the dollar would be warranted, but capital
simply has nowhere to run. There is gold for these scared folks -g-
The economy isn't going to recover quickly.

The range of permitted downside. I wish the Fed would just
announce the downside band like they do with ZIRP. Everybody
knows SPOO level is the main purpose of monetary policy, but at
least then we would not have to worry. -g-
