On 11/2/08. or thereabouts, Miss America brought the menu to Obama on a silver platter, and said," Choose anything or everything, it's all paid for, sir. I'll be right back to get your order." And, on 1/20/09, Obama said, "Excuse me, mam, but if it won't distract you from your other customers, and if it won't be too much trouble, could I have a bowl of plain oatmeal and a glass of chlorinated water, to go, please. And, if you still have those Ronald Raygun paper bags, I'd like one. Oh, and change the oatmeal to the less expensive gruel, which is a meal I never see anymore except in Dicken's books, and on your menu. Thank you so very much."

I find that the recession by products are much worse up here than in Florida.. There are homes for sale by the dozens. The prices in the grocery stores are lower. The cars on the road do not mimic the past years here....... I almost agree with you. AND now we are bombing Yemen.... Every day a new surprise including the stock market which is half the value it was to me before leaving on the cruise. So I am turning in my thinking. Forget my prognosis. Originally I had hoped Obama would lose the last election as I did not think anyone could get this country back on it's feet after the BUSH 8 years.
