Agreed on the 'first on the block' buyers, and higher production should take care of gouging. For me personally, it's simply an economic decision. Unless we can't obtain gas at all <ng>, this thing currently is pretty much a Honda Civic at almost twice the price. If you keep the car long enough to require a battery change, and factor in the current cost differential, it wouldn't make any sense for me at this time. In the future, maybe!
