If he is Sunni, why does he keep extending the olive branch to the Shia Iranians only to have them spit in his face repeatedly. Maybe, he sees himself as the great unifying force of Islam so the Caliphate can be established more rapidly...

I really, and I mean REALLY like this question, and wish some hot shot would axe (sic) it.

They could simply say, "Is your familial Muslim history Sunni or Shia?

Which do you personally prefer?
