IMHO market valuations are cyclical. In the past it has not been totally unheard of for a good stock to pay a 5 - 7% dividend. That IMHO is the time to buy.

If we are lucky, we will see those days again, and perhaps if doubly lucky, metals will maintain their store of value... and the currency (or some currency) will not be totally f*&%ed.

Hopefully we will have the wisdom to know which and when.
