Tito, I quote you;"all the investor needs to use is 5K to make it 100K in 1 year"
Any one can look at the charts and in retrospect pick a 12 month span and say the stock rose 400% in that period. I was just pointing out that for the year of 1996 from Jan 1 to Dec 31, AMAT stock lost $2.37 and at no time during that year, even if you had picked the peak value would your LEAP have increase 10%, and it would also have expired worthless.
This is also based on the fact that you said you buy in the money LEAPS.(Very expensive.)
Look, I'm not knocking you, but I remember this guy on the ATML thread who developed a religious following for options mainly from neophyte investors. When I questioned his wisdom I was flamed intensely. So I followed his advice doing paper trades for three months. If it had been real money I would have lost thousands. He then moved to the ASND thread doing the same thing.
I think you mean well and I am glad you are now adding the caveat that it is possible to loose money with LEAPS.
