If I'd known in the beginning when I opened my recruiting business what the B&O tax really meant, it would have scared me so badly I might not have opened the business. A 1.5% to 2.5% tax on the GROSS, not the Net, or Net Gross, is over the top....especially when you realize that every other service or need to do your business is taxed as well. With the B&O Tax the way it is, you could have to pay tax even though you were underwater andhad made no profit at all....
