Disagree with you on that, Steve. No one here is giving a sermon....and America was founded on the idea of "freedom OF religion", not "freedom FROM religion"..... Besides, to deny the Bible is to deny our heritage in America.

The Bible and abortion doesn't belong on this thread unclewest. I said absolutely nothing about abortion. I must inform you that your links to posts about abortion do not set my life standards. As for the Bible, so long as the Holy Quran and all the abuse of free people including children and women and Christians and Jews that it represents are acceptable here, but constructive or informative thought from the Holy Bible and other religious texts is excluded , I find those of you who believe that position is correct to be in gross contempt of free American Constitutional standards. LB has often stated his position to be an atheist. I accepted that because he seemed open minded about the unfettered expression of other ideas. The only atheists that I know or have ever known about who insist on restricting the freedom of religion of Americans, Jews and Bible believers are communist atheists. I have life standards. 49 years ago I joined De oppresso liber. I have never wavered in support of what that represents. This is America. Either we all have uninterrupted continuity of freedom of religion and freedom of speech on this thread or the thread is in my opinion oppressive. I support the former and will not participate in the oppression. See Ya, uw
