Well, at one time, we had much less onerous regulations. How did that go?

Right.. things like patient safety.....and drug effectiveness..... We should have such regulations on all the scam drugs and treatments that outright lie in their advertising... eg hair growth, diet pills, laser treatments for everything.....cancer cures..magnet therapy, copper cures, titanium cures.... How many billions do you think is spent on this crap?

If you get rid of some of those costs, you'll get more new drugs developed.

There are few regulations on the things I mentioned above...
