There's no deception you idiot. It's the scientists at the CRU who published the divergence problem. They've discussed it OPENLY and honestly, otherwise you and the deniers wouldn't have even picked up on it. Divergence of tree ring data and direct measurement is irrelevant. Deniers insist on distorting it's relevance. Get it? So why bring it up? Just more of your shit.

Go back and reread my post. You've a chronic reading comprehension problem. I was saying that the deniers were distorting by saying the scientists were somehow hiding a real decline in temperatures. I never implied that was what "hide the decline" meant.
