Are you from the land of Sky Blue Waters??? (edit: My Bad: You are not drinking Hamms <G>) Not my normal impression of the Mistake on the Lake...or perhaps you are from somewhere south of that.

Jobs are what are needed here. The government can not add at this time. Indeed, the jump in employement is partially attributable to layoffs in Government...long overdue in my opinion but not optimal timing for those seeking political cover.

I do not see how the government can force corporations to start massive rehiring, even though many are sitting on huge cash positions. My husband and I have hired several people this year, having our pick of people, but we don't need more than a few. Who is going to step up in? I'm retirement age and take no salary from our corporation. All money goes to paying others in hopes that this will be beneficial to our community and others in the long run. Others like us are doing the same but the unemployment in SW Florida remains entrenched.

I have lightened up on some energy position but it is still by far the majority in my portfolio....Thank heaven this week for MHR. MP

I just figured, Bob, if you could assign an alcohol to a point of view (Chablis) I could too.
