The real reason why AMD stock will surely go up sharply by year's end. Last spring AMD CEO Sanders promised that AMD would introduce a laptop capable K6 by year's end. We have since learned that this is a 0.25 feature size 266MHz & 300MHz capable device. He also promised the interviewing reporter that if AMD failed to do so that he would perform an act of self-imolation at a site in Santa Clara of the reporter's choosing. Either event should cause a sharp rise in the stock price. Given Sanders' current status with analysts and stockholders, his demise might be more well received than any other piece of good news. ANY COMMENTS???? Regards, DARBES
