Folks who max out their credit cards [and otherwise incur big debts] after losing jobs are the people responsible for the big financial problems, as well as the foolish creditors who loan them money. It's amusing to see people blame Big Ben and our amazing venerable idol Uncle Al Green$pan for the financial problems of wastrels be they big banks or people who never learned why and how to learn, work, save and invest.

Blaming Big Ben is like blaming the person who invented gallons for making them too small. "If a gallon had more gasoline in it, then I wouldn't have run out of gas in the middle of nowhere, back of Chesterville, on Highway 43 in a snow storm".

"Hey, tell me about it. My snowmobile conked out in -23 leaving me kilometres out from Lake Paudash coz their gallons are too small. It was only my SPOT that saved me. I had a gold bar to keep me safe but SPOT did the trick."
