Bob: I agree with your post. For Maxam's press release announcing a breakthrough in continuous processing that reduces the cost to $55 an ounce, I took out a sheet of paper and calculated how that figure was derived. They simply apportioned the processing costs between the gold and non-precious metals.But even if you apply all the processing costs to the gold and assume that just a portion of the non-precious metals can be sold, the numbers still come out very positive in the end. Let's hope everything works in April,98.
