I've pretty much given up on the people rising. Between the banksters/politicians and the military industrial surveillance state, there's just too much arrayed against them, even if they ever got a clue, which the media will make damn sure they don't. As for the Canucks, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict they'll break the mold and win it tonight.
