Ah, Alan, ms. but not the turnip patch.

telescan posts buys, sells, %, and # of shares outstanding. The time frame I'm referring to didn't have any change in shares outstanding.
no need to pussyfoot around it though... if anyone so inclined has already gotten out, this may be good news tomorrow (see, I'm trying to see the glass half full!<g>

best,
kim

Telescan (MarketGuide actually) posts the institutional holdings as a percentage of the outstanding stock.
Alan, Telescan also posts institutional purchases and institutional sales for the prior 3 months. These figures are independent of the number of outstanding shares.

Alan,

I've been playing w/ some institutions ownership data that Kim gave me. It appears that the raw data is not supplied but only a 3 month moving average of the 'net'. I've played w/ math models to attempt to track the accumulation/distribution and will post if I get something that seems to work .

The telescan data seems to be published on both a monthly & a weekly basis. Is the data on a weekly basis the net chage for that week or the weekly update of the 3 month smoothed average? Any other info would help.

Thanks,
Bob
