Your logic mystifies me. The article has been discussed ad infinitum and is not all that relevant to what is happening today. Jeff brought it up, not me. My comment was related to the thrust of the article, which is well known by all.

It is interesting that you bring up respect. Showing respect for differences of opinion is required for one to obtain a balanced view of the world. The thread has certainly had a history of being up and down on that front with many, many folks. I usually try to avoid being dragged into such discussions. Some things just aren't worth pursuing. However, illogical reactionary fabrications should never be left to stand.

Qualcomm could be and should be a much greater company than that which is found today. Nothing in life is fixed, guaranteed nor easy. Investment return is all about setting and meeting reasonable expectations. Connecting dots related to the good, the bad and the ugly is critical to valid thought. My thoughts lead my actions. Just as considering the good isn't always cheer leading, considering the bad and the ugly isn't always bitching. Those connections depend upon how one decides to view the world.

Good luck with your thread.
