The Democrats held the threat of tax increases over the economy as long as they could. They still agitate for them.

They've forced an unpopular and expensive healthcare reform bill on the country.

Key administration figures (Obama, Chu, Biden) promised to make electric rates skyrocket, raise our gasoline prices to European levels, bankrupt coal plants, forbid building new coal plants. And they've done a lot to achieve these promises. The Obama administation has been throwing people out of work in the energy industry - both in the coal, power industry, and offshore drilling areas. They're making threatening moves against shale drilling and against drilling in the Permian basin in TX over a sagebrush lizard.

They've acted to prevent Boeing from building a plant in SC.

They've done everything possible to prevent any fixing of our entitlement problem .... just as they did 7 yrs ago re. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

>> There IS no (R) job plan

Maybe. Because politicians can't just create jobs. It just isn't reality. Something many of us have known for years, but you guys are just coming to grips with.

The best that can be done is for politicians to create an environment that instills consumer confidence. Like stopping spending, coming to terms with Medicare and SS, etc.

If you stop the wasteful spending and get the country moving toward CNG, the jobs problem will solve itself.
