I don't think I can comment on what motives, environmental lobby's in other jurisdictions have. I lived on the coast for 5 years when I was younger. I have been back to the province often enough in the past 30 years to know that I am not on the same page as many of the people I hung out with back then are on.

I think if you substitute "American Foundations" for the Rockefellers you can draw a pretty straight line.

Can't say as this was a real area of interest prior but I heard Ms. Krause on Micheal Campbell once and she presented a compelling argument. Reading over some of her stuff today and following links around I think I go along with her up to a point.

I don't trust big business. I don't trust big environmentalism. I probably don't trust big anything.

I personally don't have a problem with a pipeline. Hell I had a 50 year old 24" sour oil one running under the laneway at the farm and didn't lose a nights sleep over it. The school bus went over it twice a day. No problems.

My oh my LC! I see the pickle has lost the light of day.

Why the attitude?
Why rewrite my post when you clearly know that I was not saying that at all?

"Salt'n'Peppa is saying that the Rockefellers directly created the anti-pipeline sentiment..."
No he is not. How on Earth did you leap to that conclusion?

...and that the environmental and political lobby groups got no money from anywhere else."
This statement is so obviously ridiculous that I don't really know how to respond to it...so I won't.

The information is out there and the connections can be made. Nuff said, at least by me.

(Copying someone on here who regularly signs off with) ...
Peace.
