DeBeers is a a diamond cult. Not to long ago any diamond that was not produced by this cult was called "an illicit diamond" because it did not have the blessing of their marketing agent the CSO. They then invented something to create more scarcity called "Blood Diamonds" all in the name of love and caring. What it actually did was increase the value of the CSO stones by making unsanctioned diamonds harder to market. All done for love of poor prospectors who toil in jungle swamps.
