Lutherans have explained Luther's about-face on the Jews. He was getting old and cranky. But since most Christians study Luther for his theological works rather than his ideas on how a prince should run a proper fiefdom, it isn't high on anyone's list. It's mainly of interest to those who want to hold him responsible for Nazi murders 400 years later. I wouldn't know about high school biology texts, but if students rely only on what they find in their high school textbooks, then they are a truly pathetic bunch. Somehow I think they will hear about evolution even if they never darken the door of any biology class. I know I have seen grave markers with the Star of David on them in military cemeteries. Crosses are a traditional grave marker in the West. Your hostile reaction to them is extreme, to say the least. Maybe you should get checked for incipient vampirism.
