Don't get me wrong. The discussion was more about what car Germans think highly of.

I like Benz and always have. One of the best cars I ever drove was a 79 SL. Sweet machine. Tight, powerful, and it could pull in babes like a magnet. Like a sexy tank really. And yes, the sound those doors make when you shut them was perfection.

But, I also worked on a few Benz programs and there were some silly quality issues. So, un-Benz like.

After I retired, I could drive anything I wanted, so I choose Audi. Maybe the best car I've ever owned. Rock solid and fun.
