This you ain't gonna believe. After paying into SS for 45 years, and paying the full nut as I was self employed, I applied and got SS last year when I turned 62. Today I get a 9 page letter from them. The gist being that they have TWO files on me and the second shows I should have been paid more. Grab your butt for this part. Since I wasn't getting the higher amount I have been committing FRAUD and have 30 days to send them $13k or they will file charges against me. No, it's not a joke.
