Sounds more and more like we are all in the same boat.

I assume you would not want this to happen to you.
My friend`s J&J hip implant constantly falls out of place.
The pain and now facing this long arduous process all over again is very depressing to him.

A Brief Overview:

In late 2010, over 90,000 hip replacement recipients worldwide were notified that their DePuy hip implant devices were not only defective, but also dangerous, with a slew of potentially serious health consequences. The recalled hip implant devices can dislocate, break the surrounding bone, and most seriously, potentially deposit shards of metal into the bloodstream. DePuy Orthopedics, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, either knew or should have known about the significant problems associated with its now recalled hip implant devices.

=============
, too, am in WA and burn while watching TV. I'm needing a joint replacement and one or more law firms are laboring to make them more prohibitively expensive.

"Compensatory damages are reasonable in some circumstances. Punitive damages are asinine. And the stupid boobs who sit in our legislature are busy buying votes elsewhere."

There are no punitive damages in lawsuits in Washington. That's not to say suits in other states don't affect us in this state by making the procedure more expensive.
