I had not intention of going downtown this weekend so I wasn't worried. That is until we came home from the cabin earlier this am. There must have been 1000 bikers on the road that leads to our house. There were cops directing traffic and everyone was going very slow. We had to go downtown about 2 hrs after we got home and the bicyclists were still coming. The cops were giving the bicyclists the right of way through red lights and we all had to sit there while they went on their merry way. Our road must be on their list of nice rides because we've been putting up with this for yrs, but today was extremely ridiculous. I mean literally.........there were thousands of riders. I hope this was a charity ride.......otherwise we're in big trouble around her on weekends.
