Bob, I won't share my options gains/losses because there are so many embarrassments. But trading options helped.

To bolster your INTC gains sell the weekly 22 call before Friday. You might also sell puts at a low strike that you think won't be reached in a week. I was lucky with SNDK: sold the 44 call and the 40 put and both expired worthless. I'm not too proud to go for small gains.

I had CSCO put to me at 15 [it closed at 14.97] and will sell calls next week.

One thing about b&h: one rides stocks up and down and waits for the big gain that may never come. And, time lost is gone forever. If I had the guts, I'd day trade futures. But I do sometimes day trade options. You can treat them like stocks if they have high volume [like SPY options]. A few posters here siliconinvestor.com
