Jim,

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the announcement of UK approval REMAINS on the near-term horizon although its exact timing remains anybody's guess. Other POSITIVE NEWS should follow in the weeks ahead which should re-establish Vivus in the minds of the investing public as a legitimate major player in the field of ED.

As you know, I'm not a cheerleader for Vivus and I still question its value as a longterm investment for reasons I wont go into. However, I'm a student of the ED and still consider Muse (the delivery system) to be tremendous conceptual product with still unfulfilled potential. From a purely medical standpoint, a thriving, innovative, and successful Vivus can only further our understanding and capabilities for the future treatment of ED. Good news is therefore good news anyway you slice it.

I continue to hear conflicting information about Zonagen and the data from the clinical trials for Vasomax (oral phentolamine). Today's agreement with SGP (the least ethical of all major pharmaceutical companies) appeared half-hearted and speculative. Does anybody have further insights or information about Zonagen and this agreement with SGP? I think that this company has something to hide.
