Thank you Averill! Leroux is probably rolling over in his grave at what they've done to his book. A little literary license at work.
My favorite film version was the one that came between the silent Lon Chaney and the 1953(?) version (AWFUL!)and I can't find it anywhere. OR who's in it. I loved it because of the aria Christine sang-at least I did when I was 12, maybe I wouldn't now. So film afficionados...what am I talking about?
