SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1997--Franklin Covey Co. (NYSE:FC), the world leader in time management, offers a new and improved version of ASCEND(R) for the Macintosh.
Geared towards home users and business professionals, ASCEND 4.1 is specifically developed to increase the productivity of its users. This software is available immediately to major retailers as well as through Ingram Micro and the Franklin Covey Holiday Catalog for an estimated retail price of $59.95. The ASCEND 4.1 upgrade is available free to current users of ASCEND 4.0.
This latest version of ASCEND provides an improved interface with several new viewing capabilities. In addition to the links between contacts, tasks and notes, ASCEND 4.1 now provides a direct link from the contact view to email. This feature eliminates the need to exit one application and open another, saving time for the user. The Daily Task Lists have been updated to provide various filters depending on the application. For example, a user may wish to have separate Task Lists for family and business, allowing the user to more easily prioritize daily tasks. When employing the calendar feature, users can now select a wider range of time increments depending on the need.
