Re: Enerplus Corporation (ERF)

Any opinion on ERF's earnings announcement?

enerplus.com

It looks like they booked some cash selling excess acreage (and some production) on their Marcellus property. They reduced debt and increased their Capex for the year. Not sure looking at the report what their net addition to their reserves are. Stock off 5% I have adds in the $22/share range as well as in the $36/shares range with an average cost around the current level of $26.00/share.

Company is throwing off around 7% in monthly distributions. I am going to hold off on any new buys for now (their are better oil buys) but may add shares around $22 so I can off set losses for my higher priced shares.

FWIW my positive E&P Basket turned negative yesterday and is off 14% (from inception) with oil selling at $86.38/barrel. As oil falls in price, I want to add shares so on the next move higher I can peel off higher priced shares.
