Thanks Pete, It is amazing how naive people are, and I'm sure many " analysts" fall victim to missing this brilliant accounting trick. Paying employees huge sums of money from retained earnings and never showing up as an expense. Disgusting how people read financial statements. That's why I rarely bother. I've found using technical analysis is better and you have no one to blame but your own interpretations. After all, isn't it ridiculous that analysts were looking for 80 cents in WDC and the company had to warn "hey we are looking like 25 cents". What are these analysts looking at? Pick up a computer publication and look at prices collapsing.... Hello..... What exactly is it that analysts do for a living. I think they seek out information not public....
