Hi bruce-l! I believe we are approx 7000' from the switching station, but I intend to ask the rep when I call him back. Frontier set up a booth in the park in the little town nearby last Friday and I had a chance to speak to them about service. I also got to speak to a neighbor at the other end of our little cabin community and she says she's paying $15.00 for the first yr and is getting 7 megs. I will do a bit of research on line so I can get a feel for what getting 3 megs would be like, but I'm of the mind that if it's just like dial up, I might as well put in a phone and use the Internet that way. At least I'd also have a phone. Thanks!
