Yes, Obama's impending status as a one-termer has you shaken up and nervous and worried about how the March Toward Socialism can proceed. Well, it can't. But that's no reason to give up. Probably 30 years from now, a new crop of nitwit liberals will get sucked in by a 3rd rate snake oil salesman like Obama and Carter before him (hell, I was one of the fools back when Carter was around!). This is a purge process; it just has to happen from time to time. It always self-corrects. We get a flaming one-term liberal, then the country comes to its senses and votes in someone who knows what they're doing. We can all lament about how much better off we'd have been if McCain/Palin had been elected. But we have to move forward, not look backward. We didn't get Palin. But just think, you might have Michelle Bachman to kick around for the next 8 years.
