In Canada we don't have the same level of content you have in the USA but it's growing. I watch it on my computer, but you can watch it on your TV if you have the right set up. I don't know what you need cause I don't have a TV in the house.

Netflix is streamed over your browser, I think it uses Silverlight, not sure, but nothing to install and the picture is very good, I would say DVD quality.

Judi..........I talked to a Netflix rep today about this very subject. He said I'd need a blueray player, Tivo, Wii, Xbox, Roku or other streaming device to watch Netflix on my TV. Otherwise, you can just go to their website and choose from there and watch on your computer as long as you have an acct.
