the new rage is to find a fairly clean empty home, move in, change the locks, turn on the utilities and lawyer up when the bank rep shows up. Good for 6 months plus of free rent.

You heard about the guy in Vegas that did it on a grand scale? He had like 30 homes he went around to and changed the locks on, then started renting out to whoever. Finally, a tenant(who was there when the bank rep posted a foreclosure notice on the house) blew the whistle on the guy and they set up a sting and nailed the dude when he came by to collect his "rent".
