Another 38 and 31 percent said it was an Android device. LMFAO... that would have been unheard of a year ago... amazing... this is a single Android device we are talking about outselling the iPhone 4.... OH MY GOD... and when you ADD the other many Android phones selling in the stores, it is no surprise that Android is OUSELLING the iPhone at Verizon, AT&T and the world by 3 to 1... bye bye iJUNK.... LMFAO... too funny

Pretty amazing, an over year old iPhone outselling any of the newly released horde of Android phones topped off with a newer release of Android OS. When iPhone 5 comes out, probably in September going into holiday selling, with a shiny new OS, likely topped off with a killer Siri integration, this is going to be a slaughter.

I'm not surprised. This is what I've been predicting would happen. Android, overall, is number one in terms of market share. iPhone is number one in terms of unit sales of any device, including all models that are currently on sale. Some individual Android phones do well for short periods of time, but since they always have to compete with the NEXT iPhone killer, none of them manage to keep sales going over time.

And Apple continues to make a ton of money and to dominate the market psychologically. The first time you hear anyone mention a Galaxy Tab killer or something like that, you'll know Apple is on the way out. Until that day, which seems remote, the iPhone, from a company that wasn't even in the cellphone business five years ago, is the one to beat.
