That's my county, unfortunately....the same county that produces people like Patty Murray, Maria Can'tdowell, and Jim McDermott.... The folks that just passed that law did it in stealth....Has anyone every heard of anyone swimming with a life vest on? Or mandating that everyone has to put a vest if they are wading in a pool of water more than 4' deep? Gawd! Edit: I just called the King County office for my District and told her EXACTLY what I was thinking about this Nanny State decision....Very nice Reception/Asssistant said they had hundreds of emails about this.....I told her I was very angry they were supid enough to do this, and embarassed at the same time to think we had elected officials who have enough time on their hands to add to the Nanny State mentality... Told her I was posting this link on a message board.....<ggg> kingcounty.gov
