Gersh, i'm for legalization too. but i don't think it will be an issue in the election for MOST people. most people are more concerned with their jobs and family and freedom. i can promise you that even if obama could guarantee legalization if he were elected, i would never vote for him. it simply isn't an important enough issue. it doesn't matter if 100% of the people are for legalization. it will not be the main issue that decides their votes.

yes, if economic conditions, wars and other important issues were resolved so that they were no longer political issues, then maybe drug legalization would rise to the forefront. you'll always have my vote to legalize drugs as a separate issue. but it's a long way from being the deciding issue for me, and i suspect that's true for many others also.

we will get there Gersh, but we have to get rid of the socialists first..
