<<That's too kind an interpretation...I'm saying Obama makes Nixon look like a progressive.
Still trying to decide if he makes Raygun look like a moderate.>

Obama won't lead. Too dangerous politically. When he says my views are evolving, what he really means is, I am waiting until public opinion will catch up to the issue, and I can safely back the issue.

FDR fought the Plutocrats head on. And he had to betray his class to do it. He held fireside chats to calm the people and let them know he was fighting for them.

Obama Preens!

FDR told his top adviser (Henry Hopson?)the first day in office: "go out and see what the people need and get back to me. Today"! Then FDR created 8 million jobs in 6 months. The equivilant of Obama creating 24 million jobs today.

What does Obama brag about? Saving 2 million jobs. Great!

Obama is the ultimate pragmatist. As far as his career is concerned. Not the welfare of the country.

We are confronted with another Hubert Humphrey and Viet Nam war, where Humphrey would not take the lead in opposing it.

And Obama tricked us like a Kirby vacuum cleaner salesman. He told us exactly what he needed to, to get elected with brilliant speeches, and then walked away from what he said.

I don't think I can vote for him in 2012. He told we liberals not to whine. Next letter I get from him for money I will tell him not to whine when I don't send any money.

Wharf, the kind of President you and Koan want, is not electable. The last kind of President that comes close is LBJ and the country is not ready to go there again.

You need to make the best of what you can get--after 2012, if Obama wins, you may find some of the kind of help you want.
