"Remember all those Galaxy 1s that shipped and dumped?"

I don't-- we don't have any evidence of dumping, just the shipping (and the "quite smooth" sell-through). In the case of the Transformer, which has been sold out everywhere, there is no difference between shipped and sold, is there?

BREAKING..ASUS EeePad Transformer tops Amazon UK’s best-selling tablet... Apple's iPad2 comes 7th

Well what do you know – tablets and keyboards do go together like peanut butter and jelly. It’s not all about the touch, people like the good ol’ keyboard after all. Or at least that’s what Amazon UK’s list of best-selling tablets suggests. Yep, Asus’ EeePad Transformer is topping the list and is followed by a 350 GBP cheaper Tabtech M009S (which we’ve already covered in the past). Other contenders worth mentioning (to complete the top 5 list) include the Samsung Galaxy Tab, BlackBerry PlayBook and Apple iPad 2.

Interested British can grab the Transformer for 429.99 GBP and that money also buys them the keyboard dock, which effectively turns this 10.1-inch tablet into a netbook (or that’s a smartbook).

I like what Asus is doing, introducing various tablet “versions” like the Eee Pad Slider and the newly unveiled Padfone, which is my personal favorite. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised the mentioned Padfone tops the charts too the second it starts selling. I know I want one… badly. What about you?
