Bought 1000 at market open, based on the huge bounce in the Nikkei and Hang Seng this morning. I think we'll see some sell-side pressure from the large short interest. I'd darn well cover MY position if I were short.

I still disagree with you about the fundamentals and think Cymer is reasonably priced, relative to other stocks in the semi equip sector, on a total risk/return basis. The factor of how fast Nikon etc. can get steppers in full working production is still an unknown and unknowable quantity -- they sure aren't going to tell ANYONE (including Cymer) the truth unless and until they have to. It would hurt their competitive postion too much. Of course, if their problems have been completely overcome, Cymer is in fact underpriced by 50% right now, but anyone who claims to know this for a fact is either kidding themselves or else has access to tightly guarded insider information and is breaking the law by trading the stock.

Anyway, I am long Cymer and a number of other issues as of 9.30 this morning, although I lost part of my profit in the gap up.
