Dan, In regard to 10Q Here is what concerns me for short term. 125 piccalo units were shipped during quarter, 94 to US Military, 28 to Mexico, only THREE other human use units were shipped and I think they went to Japan! Remainder of military order is on hold, and only 10 units left to ship to Mexico. Shipments are directly linked to newly booked orders which does not bode well for coming quarter. Piccalo analyzers were over 40% of analyzer sales. I repeat, next quarter does not look good for human market penetration at all. They did mention there will be orders coming in for human test disks which should help disk sales a bit. In regard to longer term, I didn't see anything unexpected, did you? They confirmed timing of new tests, clinical trials in next 6 months, approval late calender 1998??? They expect delivery of automated disk line within 6 months, then give them a few months for start up. They expect cash to last until end of 1998, but may (I think will) need financing after that. Probably secondary offering. What about other applications for Orbos technology, I wonder what the $$$$ potential is there? This is a bit of a wild card. I really need to hear from a human medical professional on WHEN it will be worthwhile for mom & pop medical practices to purchase one of these units. When will the number of available tests allow the unit to pay for itself? Any informed thoughts very much appreciated? Yo Yo
