Seems you remove the Hyperwords addon and reinstall it. No, I don't use it, couldn't say.

I accepted Firefox's upgrade today from 4 to 5. What a mistake! They did not give Google and Hyperwords time to adjust and I lost both of those add ons.

I just got this e-mail from the US District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. CM/ECF is the Court's electronic filing system:

This year, the organization that creates Firefox changed their development and support schedule. They will do a major release about every three months and immediately drop support for earlier releases. Firefox 4 was released three months ago and was updated once to 4.01. Firefox 5 has just been released and version 4 is now considered an end-of-life product which means it won't be updated any more. When version 6 is released later this year, version 5 will no longer be updated.

Consequently, important security updates could require upgrading to the latest version. However, this can be disruptive for some web-based applications such as CM/ECF. Web browsers, while performing the same general function, are not created equal. Different browsers can run the same set of code from a web application and have different results. Major changes in a browser can have the same effect.

We've had one trouble call from a user who upgraded to Firefox 5. They switched back to version 4 and were able to read and file documents again.

CM/ECF is certified for Firefox 3.x and Internet Explorer 7 and 8. Firefox 4 is not certified but appears to work without problems.

Other browsers such as Internet Explorer 9, Safari, Chrome, and Opera are not certified for CM/ECF and may work with mixed results.

If you wish to continue using Firefox for CM/ECF, we advise that you not upgrade Firefox to a version higher than 4. If you are using Internet Explorer 7 or 8 for CM/ECF then you don't need to take any action on this.
