Bachmann was very restrained in the interview with Chris Wallace - what a jerk he is! She should have reached over and given him a resounding dope slap. He was very insulting, probably took his cue from Rolling Stone...

Secular attitude toward evangelicals is related to their role in American history and the fact they are largely reactionary today.

Can you *just* imagine the firestorm that would ensue IF the Evangelicals OR any other group, decided to Insert the word "Muslim" or "Secular" into any of the sentences the Left tosses around to people who do have a strong religious faith.

I for one, would really like to see that happen a few times....maybe then the entire country would see how grossly stupid the name throwing really is and just "live and let live."

I do have a problem with people wearing their religion on their sleeve and trying to inflict others with their way of believing. It doesn't matter what religion does it. Most of them have some converts who do that.

But then, I've always had trouble with the people who are active missionaries who try to "convert" others.

The best way for people to come around to another's religious viewpoint, (OR non-religious as the case might be), is to live one's life to the best ethical standard they can.

The Masonic orders believe that if one does that, others will see it, and ask the person what their belief system is....In other words, if you live and don't do harm to others, help others when help is needed, etc....others may ask you how you do it...THEN it is OK to tell them your views on life.

It is "pull" selling, not "push" selling....

The people who are PUSHING us to their viewpoint are mostly people of the Evangelical Left.....Their Religion is "The State is ALWAYS Right"....and we will Fine You, Tax You, and yes, even Kill You if you don't go our way.....

Maybe if we started mentioning Evangelical Left when discussing Rolling Stone, AlGore, Jimmy Carter, Barack Obama, Anthony Weiner, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and the other gang of Horrors, people will start realizing that the Left has an agenda that is really by far worse than anything the Religious Right and Religious Left can muster.
