Hank & Hank, I must be a rough day for you. Your paper-profit on Dell is shrinking, 4 more Comdex-days to go and Dell will release earnings next monday. All the time you were so right that it really boosted your self-confidence. Remember, it is only a few days ago you posted estimates about Dell's open, high, low & close. And while you watched the whole weekend on CNN how nothing happened in Iraq, suddenly the Japanese start rolling again. And Europe & America following. At least you didn't expect it. What to do now. I assume you read the Lehman-report which was quit bullish, and they even forget to mention the lease-program, the internet-sales, the shares-buyback program etc. Hmmm, fundamentals are a little bit better than you thought. Back to the candles if they can help you. Noop, even they stopped being bearish on Dell. So I know you are in doubt what to do next. Your today's posts can best be described as whistling in the dark. We, the bulls, read between the lines. We've seen so many bears struggling before they leave this thread broken. The best that I can advice you is to control your emotions and do the right thing; take the money and run. And about options, it is not a bad idea to continue selling call-options on Dell. But it is not so clever to sell them naked. If they have a blow-out quarter (who knows, I don't, you don't) than you will be hammered. So think about changing to covered calls. You will sleep much better. BTW Have you spoken to that McBabb-buddy. At least ask him if he is still confident about being short on CTXS. I bought CTXS for fundamental reasons (which are really good for at least the next 2 or 3 quarters). For you there must be other reasons. I know very little of TA but I can hardly believe that TA on CTXS tells you to stay short and to accumulate when it keeps rising. Still wish you all the best, thanks for your invitation to come to Arkansas so you can teach me a few things. I will sure do, I always like to learn from other people's mistakes. Paul
