I have photos of most everything. Including the big rock that you should pay no attention to if you are looking for the old trail and the massive granite outcropping that you should.....

i'm glad you came out of the ordeal in one piece and just a flesh wound...

dang, mosquitos are dreadful, that alone would inhibit me...

i don't recall any mosquitos at all on mt. shasta....it was last september, no critters except hawks, and other birds, butterflies, darling little ground squirrels, and some wild sheep which were up on the cone

Sounds like you had quite an adventure! Beautiful pictures....but your hike reminded my why my idea of the perfect camping trip and hike involves going to a Four Seasons resort to "camp out".
