Yukon Geological Survey - MINFILE Database Search

Nordling and Rudis¿s 1999 exploration program was preliminary in nature and was undertaken to evaluate the area¿s potential to host epithermal or intrusive gold mineralization. From the brief sample descriptions provided, it appears the local geology matches that suggested in Gordey¿s compilation geology map. The best result returned 2 280 ppb gold, 315 ppm zinc and 2 696 ppm arsenic from a grab sample described as consisting of highly bleached quartz, feldspar and weathered pyrite and classified as a possible quartz monzonite.
