Actually, I've spent most of my life in Vancouver, which is only a 3 hour drive from Seattle, so I suppose my decision was more crazy than home sick =). It's unfortunate things didn't work out the way I had expected, those ludicrous MSFT stock options would become quite handy in 5 years or so.
