When you say "end of road" (I'm reconstructing this from memory) I assume you mean............ Go in from Darby. Get to Magruder Station and instead of continuing on to Elk City, take a right and go to end of road (to campground and Crystal Creek?) We did that and almost camped at that campground, but hubby did a search and found a meadow way off road next to the river. It was spectacular, and as I said before, we didn't see another human for 5 days. We did see a stag bring his harem through.............what a sight.
