I don't know, but the drive by some, he being one, to get people not to vote or to vote republican as a "protest" is disingenuous. If he likes the Log Cabin dudes, let him join and be honest about it. I know some say "let's teach people a lesson". really wtf? The President doesn't say out loud the Marriage word so I'ma pout and help get the likes of Walker and Scott elected? Am I really to care so little about other people and the harm done? It deeply angers me. I had a run in with the Log Cabin guys when I worked for the councilman in LA. I was at a conference on gay issues and we were talking about voting patterns by gays. I turned to someone in Log Cabin and asked him why they voted for the Rs when the Rs don't particularly care about gays. He became incensed and claimed I was telling him how to vote. He wrote a letter to the councilman filing a complaint against me. I got my hands slapped and told I was politically naive. I still don't understand why they vote R. It makes no sense to me. I actually had a lil twitter exchange with Choi. It's not that I don't understand anger and wanting to just burn it all down. But I was 23 then and didn't see the harm that would do to others I purported to care about. And he's been overseas in war... can get an extra edge on someone. However, I've no interest in seeing others harmed by such conduct and anyone who says they won't vote or will vote repub, imo, should just step right out of the Dem party and not bother us with talk of how they care about the poor and blahblah. they angry cause they not getting theirs. Choi is only 23. He looks much older to me. I would like to attribute his anger to young age but it seems people of all ages are disappointed with Obama. You need look no further than this thread. And I agree....wasting your vote esp now when the Rs are so crazy and extreme is just sheer stupidity. Franky, I am tired of stupid and shortsighted people.
